Asian Junior Boys & Girls under 20 chess Championship's held from March 30th to April 7th. There are 36 players in the Girls Section and 34 players in the Boys section from 16 Asian Federation. Vo Thi Kim Phung won 2 medals of both standard and blitz chess events.

14th ASEAN+ Age-Group Chess Championships

The 14th ASEAN+ Age-Group Chess Championships will be held in Chiang Mai Province, Kingdom of Thailand, during 5th to 14th June 2013. Each country may register any number of players to participate in the U-8, U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16, U-18, U-20 Age-Groups for Girls and Open and Seniors above 50.
